Privacy & Browsers
Open Preferences → Privacy & Browsers to choose what each browser shares with SupaSidebar. Live Tabs, Recent activity, and imported history have separate controls.
Choose features for each browser

Turning a feature off stops its collection and keeps previously stored activity. A dash means that feature is not supported for the browser. An empty history or an access problem does not turn off your saved History choice.
For display mode, Recent limits, and profile settings, use Preferences → Browser Activity.
Pause activity recording
Check a browser’s Privacy checkbox to turn on its Private Mode. This pauses new Recents and history imports for that browser while keeping Live Tabs available. Existing activity and feature choices stay in place.
Visits made during the private period stay excluded after you turn Private Mode off, including after a history rebuild. To pause all browsers together, turn on Incognito Mode at the top of the page.
SupaSidebar does not detect private windows in every browser. Turn on Incognito Mode or the browser’s Private Mode checkbox before browsing privately. These controls do not change your browser’s own privacy settings.
Block a browser
Check Blocking beside a browser to hide its Live Tabs and imported history, stop new Recent recording and history imports, and stop automatic sidebar attachment. Uncheck it to restore the browser’s previous feature choices.
Older Recents are kept until you clear them. Blocking is not a delete action. Saved links remain available.

Block a website
Expand Blocked Websites and add a website or URL rule. Domain rules include subdomains, so example.com also matches mail.example.com.
Blocked pages are hidden from Live Tabs and imported history, and new Recent activity is not recorded for them. Existing foreground Recent records are not removed automatically. You can still save a link manually, and these rules do not block the website in your browser.
Clear stored activity
Open the ••• menu beside a browser:

Both actions keep saved links and your browser’s own history. Older cleared visits stay excluded after a rebuild. A new visit can appear again, and a page visited in another browser may still appear.
Under Stored Activity, you can clear Recents, refresh history, or reset and rebuild eligible imported history from the last 30 days. A rebuild preserves privacy exclusions and previous clearing choices.
